Computer / Clerical Training

The Computer and Clerical Training program provide extensive instruction in the job duties and work ability of a general office person, as found in the competitive employment sector.  Instruction may include: Introduction to Windows XP, introduction to Microsoft word, Introduction to Excel, customer service techniques, and introduction to the internet

Janitorial Training

The janitorial training provides direct supervision by a qualified staff in the area of janitorial to include: 

  • General Housekeeping
  • Commercial Kitchen Cleaning
  • Healthcare Cleaning Procedures
  • Stripping, Waxing, and Buffing of floors

 

Forklift Training

The curriculum for this program cover the history of forklift operations, the reason for training, the OSHA standards, drivers' safety and pedestrian safety.  The curriculum also covers the safe maneuvering and handling of materials.  Each consumer is given a written test and driving test;  once these are successfully passed the consumer receives a forklift certificate.  This training is scheduled with each consumer and covers 10 hours of hands-on training.  Additional hours may be added if the consumer requires extra hands-on practice.
