Prevocational Services

Lakeside Curative Service Facility-Based Work Service Program is designed to provide people with disabilities a safe, integrated work setting. The program teaches people with disabilities the skills necessary to succeed in employment.  Services occur over a defined period of time which involves training while providing an opportunity for experiences that enhance basic work related skills.   

The Facility-Based Work Service is offered at 2503 Lincolnwood Court. The building meets all ADA requirements.  Our services are available to non-English speaking people and hearing impaired clients. We currently have members on staff that can communicate through Spanish and through sign language. If the signers cannot perform to the level required, outside interpreters will be brought in.

Our program has been designed by using the standards set by CARF. This is an accreditation that guarantees you, as an agency, that we meet the standards expected from a vocational service provider.
